JOG FALLS, KARNATAKA Jog falls counted amongst the highest waterfalls of our country. It is located in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. For the extended thrill, you can also choose to trek to this point to enjoy the stunning view and the thunder sound of water falling from a height of 253 meters. Best Time to Visit: June - September

DHUANDHAR FALLS, JABALPUR This enormous waterfall in India is fed by the Narmada river and is surely a beauty that the city of Jabalpur can boast of. Although, the monsoon is the best time to enjoy the beauty of this waterfall, but due to its unique properties it flows enormously throughout the year. Best Time to Visit: September - March

DUDHSAGAR FALLS, GOA Dudhsagar translates to “sea of milk”. The beauty of this waterfall in India gushing down from the towering height of 310 meters and creating the scene of white waterfall truly lives up to the name given to it. Best Time to Visit: October - May

ATHIRPALLY FALLS, THRISSUR Athirappilly waterfall in the Thrissur district of Kerala is created by the river Chalakudy. Everything along with the gushing water is delightful. Best Time to Visit: September - January

HOGENAKKAL FALLS, KARNATAKA The name Hogenakkal is a blend of two words Hog which means smoke and kal means rocks in the Kannada language. And, as the name says it all, this waterfall creates a mystic illusion of smoke when the water falls from a height of 20 meters to the rock bed on the surface. Although, boating is allowed only after the monsoon season when the water is not fierce and powerful. But, you can certainly enjoy the beauty of this waterfall throughout the year. CHITRAKOOT FALLS, CHATTISGARH Affectionately known as the ‘Niagara falls of India,’ Chitrakote falls, located in Jagdalpur in Bastar district of Chattisgarh. The waterfalls from the massive height of 100 meters and increases to 150 meters in monsoon making its way down. Best Time to Visit: June - October

BHAGSU FALLS, MCLEODGANJ Bhagsunag waterfalls may not make its way to the highest Indian Waterfalls but, for the adventure lovers, this place is surely a treat. It is located at a favourable distance of 11 km from Dharamsala. Reaching the highest point of the waterfall in India requires a short trek making the trail  adventurous and exciting. NOHSNGITHIANG FALLS, SHILLONG Located in the wettest place of India, Nohsngithiang falls are also known as seven sister falls because of seven streams cascading parallelly creating a beautiful panorama of 70 meters set amidst the lush green forests. The water falls straight and uninterrupted from a height of 340 meters making its way  to the earth’s surface.  Best Time to Visit: Monsoon Season
